Cater, William John (Cater Bros)

Lance Sergeant 4928, 3rd Grenadier Guards, Son of John and Sabina of Yate Road, Yate, Gloucestershire.

Archibald Leonard, Pte 730648, Western Onatrio Regiment, 18th Canadian Infantry, died 2nd October 1918 aged 31. Son of John & Sabima of Pear Tree Cottage, Iron Acton, Gloucestershire. he is buried at Bucquoy Road, Cemetery, Ficheux, France
Hubert, Pte A/2040, Western Ontarion Regiment, 1st Canadian Infantry, died 22nd September 1916 aged 21. His parents were living at Holloway Hill, Iron Acton.
He is commemorated on a memorial at St Mary's Yate, Gloucestershire, and on the Vimy Memorial, France
George, survived WW1, Sergeant 8347 Suffolk Regiment. He enlisted 24th October 1899 into the Grenadier Guards, and left on the 24th October 1906. He re-engaged 24th October 1911 back into the Grenadier Guards and transferred to the Suffolk's 10th February 1915. He was wounded in the left hand July 1916.
He married Beatrice Maud Baggott at Bristol Registery Office 17th December 1906 and she was residing after marriage at 29th Dover Road, Upper Stretton, Swindon, Wiltshire
