Calvert William BROWN

Royal Army Ordnance Corps.
Corporal 24228287 Calvert William BROWN. Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Killed along with WO2 Edward (Gus) Garside on the 17th July 1975 while examining a decoy bomb at Ford's Cross, Forkhill, County Armagh Northern Ireland. Three other soldiers were murdered. Born 6th March 1950 and died aged 25. At rest in St John the Baptist Churchyard, Lound, Lowestoft, Suffolk.

He is also commemorated on the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
