Capt, Roger Dawson Dawson Duffield BROWNSON, RAMC, Staff Surgeon at Peshawar, only son of Reverend Frank and Margaret Dawson De-Coverdale of Compton Greenfield. He died in India, 21 Oct 1918 aged 35. He was the husband of Gwenllian Clare nee Rice of 5, Eldorado Crescent, Cheltenham Gloucestershire. in 1911 he was resident surgeon in The London Hospital, Whitechapel, London Commemorated on a family memorial in All saints churchyard, Compton Greenfield, Gloucestershire and also commemorated on the India Gate, Delhi Memorial, India. On his medal card are three addresses, Knole Park, Almondsbury, Gloucestershire, Bramhope Eldorado, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and Dynevor Castle, Llandilo, South Wales.
