He was shot dead by a PIRA sniper while of foot patrol in Crossmaglen, County Armagh Northern Ireland 06 November 1974 age 20.
He joined the great muster in the sky at Mark Eaton Crematorium, Derby.
This memorial plaque is at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
