Someone should have told the driver to button up. Sand has got to be one of the worst things to get into any vehicle.

Commanders hatch is the same, partially open. Looking at the angle of the drivers hatch, I would say they were closed but not fastened properly, when they hit the bump they bounced open.
I agree, sand in tanks ?, not a good thing .
