BOWER Fred

BOWER Fred, Private 14517, A Coy, 10th Sherwood Foresters, killed in action at Provence, France on the 9th November 1917 aged 27. "He sleeps with the unreturnable brave". He was the son of John and Elizabeth of Eastwood. He is commemorated on a family memorial in Eastwood Cemetery, Nottinghamshire and is laid to rest in Dozinghem Military Cemetery, Belgium.
