Bernard Thomas PRINCE.

Extended Description
PRINCE Bernard Thomas. Pte 88668, 13th, Royal Fusiliers killed in action at Bullecourt 23 August 1918. Born at Whiston, near Oakamoor in 1896 to Arthur and Elizabeth of The Lord Nelson, Oakamoor. In 1911 he was still living with his parents in the Lord Nelson. His father was the Innkeeper. (His grandfather was the Innkeeper of the Bulls Head, Cheadle near Oakamoor. Both pubs are still serving ale and food) His mother was granted a war gratuity on the 2nd January 1919, revised on the 16th December 1919. Buried in Achiet-Le-Grand Communal Cemetery Extension, France
