The names of the fallen in both World Wars
Robert William WILLAN Kings Own Royal Lancaster Regiment (RIP) This person is named on the Roll of Honour in Beetham Church but  not on any of the war memorials. He was the son of Robert Seed and Hannah of Jiffs Knolts, Brathay, Ambleside, Lancashire He was Private 27470 8th Royal Lancaster Regiment killed in action 29th July 1917 aged 21.  He is at rest in Louverval Military Cemetery, Doignies, Nord France
