finished my service at 17 training in july 83, but was living over the road from the barracks at the time. used to drink in the kings, village blacksmith and the navy & army, all with in stagering distance of the camp.
ps my last job there was running the cricket pavolion just by ha ha road.

Permanant Staff HQ Bty, i elected to finish my service in the U.K.So in may 1982 i arived at woolwich, first job was bty runner for 3 weeks, then took over the officers mess dive bar, then i ran the cricket pavilion. i lived at the back of the Kings. left the army in july 1983.

yes but the windows in my flat didn't, my bedroom window ended up all over my bed.
