BARNFIELD Sidney George

Private 33004 Sidney George Barnfield 2/4th Gloucestershire Regiment who fell in the great war [died of wounds] 21st April 1917 aged 24. Son of Thomas and Ada of 60 Rycroft Street, Gloucester City Commemorated on the memorial of Alfred George and Sarah Ann Barnfield at Ampney Crucis Cemetery, Gloucestershire and is buried at Brandhoek New Military Cemetery No3, Iper, Belgium and brother of Private 31806 Albert Wilfrid, 7th Gloucestershire Regiment who died 2nd April 1919 aged 25. Buried at Batoum British Cemetery, and commemorated on the Haidar Pasha Memorial, Turkey
