Captain Robert Arnold BARKER, M.C., 10th Sherwood Foresters,Notts and Derby Regiment died of wounds in France 13th October 1918 aged 24. he was the son of Elijah James and Matilda of of 12. Avondale Road, Derby (his father died in 1898)

Commemorated on his parents memorial in St Peter's extended churchyard, Congleton Cheshire and buried in Montigny Communal Cemetery, Nord, France
