- B.II.5 Harry RACKLEY. Seaman (Brixham) 3128 Royal Naval Reserve on HMS Europa. Born 10 August 1884 at Brixham, Devon to George and Annie. 1891 residing with his parents and siblings at 6 Holland Court, Briham, Devon. 1901 residing with his widowed father and siblings at 15 Middle Street, Brixham. On the 20 August 1905 he married Polly Clatworthy. 1911 residing with his family at 27 King Street, Brixham, occupation, fisherman. His Naval record show he enrolled into the Royal Navy on the 1 April 1905 at Brixham. He received travelling expenses to training from 28 January 1910 to 20 August 1914. He enlisted into the navy on the 31 March 1915 on HMS Swiftsure. Died a few months later in a Naval Hospital Hospital, Bighi, Malta 22 July 1915 aged 31 years from enteric fever. His widow Polly of 27 King Street, Brixham, Devon was informed of his death.
