      This badge is almost certainly a reproduction, and an inaccurate one at that. The AIF Badge was used on stationery, headstones, memorials and things like greeting cards and Christmas cards. That badge was never issued to troops in any way and most certainly not in matt black

      For info, 1st A.I.F. was raised for service overseas during WW1 and 2nd A.I.F. raised for service overseas in WW2.
