- Second Lieutenant Augustus Montague SARGENT. 15th Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment). Born 12 March 1884 to Richard and Alice Matilda Sargent. 1891 with his parents and brother at Wyndham Villa St Joseph’s Place Devizes Wiltshire. 1901 with his parents and brother at 44 Trowbridge Road, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. He enlisted at Swindon 7 September 1903. No regiment given it may have been the Royal Wiltshire Regiment of the Wiltshire Regiment. 1911 his parents were residing at Belle Vue Poulton 48C Trowbridge Road, Bradford On Avon, Wiltshire. He was a boarder at the home of the Banger family at 11 The Grove Dorchester Dorset, occupation, Architect and Surveyor
Enlisted 30 May 1917 into the 3rd Sherwood Foresters. At the time of his death his parents were residing at Seales Farm, Upper Seagry, Chippenham, Wiltshire, formerly late of Manor Villa, Wootton Bassett. Died 27 April 1918 aged 34 years. At rest in Doullens Communal Cemetery Extension No 1, France
