- JONES Ashton James. Private 3116, 1/4th Cheshire Regiment died of wounds 25th August 1915 aged 25 years in a hospital in Malta. Enlisted at Birkenhead, Cheshire.

A war gratuity was granted 05 April 1916 to his widow Catherine and his sister Eleanor Fredericka. The 08 August 1919 revised for his widow. The 20 November 1919 revised for his sister.
