Arthur Frederick Daniel FIRMSTON. Drummer 3907500, 2nd South Wales Borderers. H.Q. Wing Died at Malta 22nd July 1936 aged 21. Son of late Arthur James and stepson of Minnie A Firmston nee Balsdon and William E H Smith and brother of Margaret.
At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery. P1/R2/G8
His father may have been Colour Sergeant L/6213 4th Middlesex Regiment. Born at Dundalk Ireland about 1886. In 1901 aged 15 he was serving with the Middlesex Regiment at Tower of London, 1911 he was still with the Middlesex Regiment then at Albuhera Barracks, Stanhope Lines, Aldershot. He died at Plymouth aged 37 in 1923.

Edward STEERS, Private 6139110, 1st East Surrey Regiment. Born 16th April 1911, enlisted 11th October 1929 and died 10th October 1931 aged 20.
