Born 02 August 1881 to Sir Frederick George Denham and Ethel Bedford, nee Turner. Husband of Gladys Bedford,
He joined the Royal Navy 15 January 1895. Promoted to Sub-Lieutenant 02 August 1900. Lieutenant 02 August 1902.

Died suddenly 05 December 1949 aboard H.M.S. Sheffield lying in the Grand Harbour. He was buried at sea off Malta.
