Son of Henry and Caroline Cooper (nee Gardner), 11 Arthur Street, Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent.
In 1911 he was living with his widowed mother and his siblings at 27 Arthur Street, Cobridge, Stoke on Trent.

At rest at Struma Military Cemetery, Greece.

Commemorated on a family headstone at

Hanley Cemetery, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.
