BROADLEY Arthur Engine Room Artificer 4th Class C/MX 76509 Royal Navy on HMS Bullen died 6th December 1944 aged 36. The ship was torpedoed and sunk by U-Boat U-775. Born 8th November 1908 at Rastrick, Yorkshire to Harry and Beatrice Broadley, nee Holdroyd. In 1911 he was living with his parents at 5 Smith Building, New Hay Road, Rastrick, Yorkshire. Husband of Annie Broadley, nee Tiffany of Brighouse, Yorkshire. At rest in Lyness Royal Naval Cemetery, Orkney, Scotland.
Commorated on the St Oswalds War Memorial, Askrigg, Yorkshire.
