I did a small group photo for some USAF in the Gulf and they let me and the other 4 of my team have one each. They are great bits of kit.

Yeah, but I noticed one thing. None of these guys have the end bars installed on their cots. Smart move! Takes some muscle power to put them on.

It may take 30 secs to put one up but 10 secs to blag one! Our det had a slack handful of these secured away but we were always looking for more! I don't remember the ends Irv, maybe we never had any!

Go to Fernandez's site. You'll see some in the big tent with the end crossbars mounted. They fit through a loop at each end of the canvas and have a hole in each end to fit over raised dimples on each side bar. This tightens the canvas for better rest. I'll try to get a pic and post it so you can see.
