FOWLER Joseph Harold. Private, 4784, 56th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of sickness, 27th June 1916, aged 32 years. The son of Joseph and Clara Fowler, of Chenhall Street, Woonona, Queensland. Born in Five Ways, Staffordshire. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

FOX Hugh. Private, 1201, 20th, Australian Infantry. Died of sickness, 26th September 1915. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

FRICKER Percy Thompson. Lance Corporal, 1223, 22nd Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of pneumonia, 16th November 1915, aged 19 years. The son of William Henry and Emma Fricker, of Wendouree, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

GALL, James. Trooper 779, 1st Australian Light Horse, died 31st July 1915 aged 23. Son of Robert and Harriet Gall. Born at Sarsfield, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

GARDEN Norman Douglas, Lance Corporal, 763, 7th Australian Infantry. Died of enteric fever, 23rd October 1915, aged 20 years. The son of Henry and Blanche E. Garden, of Berkeley Street, Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

GARDINER Clarence Edward. Private, 1228, 5th, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 11th September 1915, aged 21 years. He was the son of William and Edith Gardiner, of Weldborough, Tasmania. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Some notes from his army record. He joined up on the 26th October 1914 aged 20 years and 6 months and was by occupation a miner. He embarked to join the Callipoli Campaign in Alexandria on the 5th April 1915. On the 22nd August 1915 he received a gunshot wound to his head at Anzac and was admitted to Brown's Depot Dressing Station. The same day he was transferred to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station with bomb injuries to his head, left arm and leg. On the 31st August 1915 he was transferred to Malta on Hospital Ship, Ascania and admitted to Tigne Hospital, Sliema where he died of his wounds on the 11th September 1915. He was buried later that day at Pieta New Military Cemetery, by Chaplin E E Smith.

GEILVOET Cornelius. Trooper, 640, 1st Australian Light Horse. Died of his wounds, 24th May 1915, aged 26 years. The son of William and Katherine Geilvoet. Born in Dignams Creek, New South Wales. Inscribed on his memorial. "In loving memory of our dearly beloved brother. Thy will be done" He is at rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

GHEST Robin Hubert. Private, 1100, 13th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of dysentery, 10th September 1915. The son of Susie Caroline and Robert Chevin Ghest. Born in Sydney, New South Wales. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

GIFFORD Aubrey William. Private, 2229, 6th Australian Infantry. Died of enteric fever, 11th August 1915, aged 18 years. The son of Ellen Maud and Maurice Winton Gifford, of 16 Limes Road, Folkestone. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta

GREEN William. Private, 1672, D Company, 11th Australian Infantry. Died of dysentery, 7th August 1915 at Military Hospital, Imtarfa. Born at Broken Hill, New South Wales, enlisted at Perth, Western Australia on the 14th January 1914 aged 27 and 9 months, occupation, labourer. Next of kin was his brother, Richard Cornelius Green. He embarked at Freemantle on H.M.A.T. A50 Itonus on the 22nd February 1915 bound for the Mediterranean. He was admitted to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station at the Dardanelles on the 26th June 1915 suffering from gastric enteritis. He was transferred via Fleet sweeper to Hospital Ship, Sicilia, which then to Malta and was admitted to on the 28th July 1915 into Military Hospital, Imtarfa. At rest in in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

HAMMOND, Thomas Verran. Private, 406, 2nd Battalion, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 24th July 1915, aged 22 years. The son of William Charles and Mary Ellen Hammond, of Wentworth Street, Granville, New South Wales. He is at rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

HARBECK Arthur Percival. Private 566, 6th Australian Infantry, died 22nd May 1915 aged 23. Son of Peter and Fanny Miriam Harbeck, of Lakes Entrance, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta.

HARDING Alfred. Private 2124, B Company. 3rd Australian Infantry. Died 21st July 1915 at Malta on enteric fever.. He was born at Walsall, England and enlisted at Sydney, New South Wales on the 8th October 1914 aged 21 and 7 months. His father William was his next of kin he lived at 35 Lewisham Avenue, Smethwick. His sister Lily Rose Anna Harding lived at 5 King Street, Smethwick along with his mother Elizabeth.. He embarked at Melbourne on H.M.A.T. A32 Themistooles. On the 1st February 1915 he was taken ill with a strained heart and influenza and was treated at 1st Casualty Clearing Station. He rejoined his unit the 26th May 1915. He was again taken ill and was invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship Gascon suffering from enteric fever. He was admitted into hospital on the 18th July 1915 and died on the 21st July 1915 at Military Hospital, Imtarfa from enteric fever and was laid to rest at Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta the following day by Reverend M Tobias.

HARMER Edwin Frank. Private, 299, 5th, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 30th June 1915, aged 32 years. Born in Essex, and he was the son of John Thomas and Maria Lydia Harmer, and also the husband of Jessie Priscilla Harmer, of Tarwin Lower, South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
