- Flight Lieutenant 609124 Anthony John PROWSE. M.A. Royal Air Force stationed at RAF Luqa. Born the 7th March 1939 and killed as the result of a plane crash and explosion near to Addolorata Cemetery, Malta whilst on approach to RAF Luga on 7th January 1969 aged 29 along with Peter John Howard GREENAWAY. They had flown from RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus and were flying in an English Electric Canberra PR.Mk.9. Loved husband of Sally (Sally M nee PERRY) Son of George Cyril Edward Prowse (formerly Flight Sergeant 350618. Commissioned Pilot Officer 133935 22nd January 1943 Flying Officer 3rd October 1946) and Gladys Mabel nee Wilcox. His home address was 54 Lemon Street, Truro,CornwallAt rest in Plot 1 Row 4 Grave 17 in Imtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta.
