- In loving memory of Andy PADBURY. Born 19 January 1944 died in Malta 30 March 2009.
‘Always in my heart, Christine. Your dream come true. You went to Malta your favourite place to be then and now.’
He was chairman of Reading Branch of the Regiment Association of The Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Hampshire Regiment.
At rest in Cemetery of Devine Mercy, Trig Burmarrad (Road) St Paul’s Bay, Malta.

Annual Newsletter 2010 - Reading Reunion
The Reading Reunion, traditionally held on the last weekend in July, was held in Brock Barracks on 25th and 26th July. The ceremony before the Maiwand Lion in Forbury Park on the Saturday was firmly back in the programme and was well supported. The weekend function was preceded by the Memorial Service to Andy Padbury, ex-Chairman Reading Branch of the Association who died in Malta in June.
