Alfred Henry ANCHOR. JX 131073 Royal Navy. Born 19 May 1912 at Kingston, Portsmouth, Hampshire, occupation school boy at Greenwich.
Enlisted as BoyII 1 November 1927, promoted Boy I, 11 May 1928 both on shore base HMS St Vincent, Gosport. 19 May 1930 enlisted into the Royal Navy (now 18) for 12 years. 20 June 1950 he was commission Master at Arms.

Lieutenant Commander 1912 – 1969. Served at one time on HMS Calcutta

1911 his parents were residing at 42 Brookfield Road, Kingston.

At rest with his father in St Stephen’s Churchyard, Fylingdales, Yorkshire
