D/JX288822 Alfred (known as Gerry) Price

Royal Navy veteran from Pembroke Dock, originally from Liverpool. He joined up aged 16, lied about his age and he served on HMS Broke and Versatile. Was taken a prisoner of war for a short period in Algiers on the 8th November 1942. He was releases along with the rest of the crew when it was realised they were not the enemy. He was presented with his medal at a medal presentation on HMS Mersey on the 24th September 2013, aged 89.
Photo take at the National Memorial Arboretum at the Ride to the Wall (RTTW) event on the 4th October 2014, his good wife was also in attendance.

Mr. Alfred Gerald "Gerry" Price Pembroke Dock Crossed the Bar peacefully at Brooklands Nursing Home, Saundersfoot on Monday 15th. January 2018 of Mr. Gerry Price of Park Street, Pembroke Dock. He was 93.
