Alexander Magowan McVEA

McVEA, Alexander Magowan. Flight Sergeant, Pilot 590584, 216 Squadron Royal Air Force died on active service on the 14th April 1941 aged 25. He was the grandson of David and Agnes Isabella and son of David and Sarah of Portavogie, County Down, Northern Ireland. (On this memorial. He is interred in Lagos, West Africa). He is commemorated on his grandparents memorial in Cloughey Presbyterian Churchyard, County Down and he is at rest in Ikoyl No2, Nigeria.
