PEARSON Albert. Pioneer, 138993, 270th Railway Coy, Royal Engineers. Died of malaria, 27th August 1916, aged 40 years at Malta. The son of Mrs. Caroline Pearson of 1 Goding Street, Vauxhall, London.
SLATER Radford. (served as Robert SMITH), Private, M2/139088, 603rd M.T. Coy, Royal Army Service Corps. Died of dysentery, 1st September 1916, aged 29 years. The son of Stephen and Hannah Emily Slater, of Farnah Green, Derby. Gone but not forgotten.
MCKILLOP Abraham. Private, 5866, 10th Black Watch, Royal Highlanders. Died of disease 31st August 1916 in Malta, contracted at Salonika. Born at Helensburgh, Dumbartonshire, son of Archibald and Jane. In 1901 he was living with his parents and siblings at 51 James Street, Helensburgh, Dumbartonshire. His widow, Marion was granted a war gratuity on the 10th January 1917.
