- RANDALL Albert Edward. Stoker, K/4978 Royal Navy on HMS Scarab (Ceanothus). Born 5 June 1889 at Deal Kent to Thomas Valentine and Jane Elizabeth Randall nee Hall. In 1891 he was residing with his parents and siblings at the Victoria Tavern, 14 Gladstone Road, Deal. Enlisted 13 December 1909 on HMS Vulcan occupation prior to enlistment. Prior enlistment his occupation grocers boy. Late Royal Navy 105411. Died 1st April 1918 aged 29 years of cerebral haemorrage in a hospital in Malta. His widow Isabell Anderson nee McKelvie of 39 Wellgate Buckland, Dundee was informed of his death on the 3rd April.
