Warrant Officer Class 2 24205129 Albert David COOPER, 8th County Tyrone Battalion. He was off duty in his workplace, a garage in Union Street, Cookstown the 2nd November 1990 when a PIRA activist Geraldine Ferrity posing as a customer had left a car to be fitted with a new exhaust rigged with explosives. When he put the car in gear and moved, it triggered a booby trap bomb killing him instantly, aged 42. At rest in Kildress Parish Churchyard, County Tyrone. Source newspaper cutting
