Extended Description: Albert Charles SCOVELL. Stoker 1st Class P/K65231 Royal Navy on HMS Curacoa. Born 12th June 1906 at Ryde, Isle of Wight to Henry and Anna Scovell nee Corney. In 1911 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 3 Highland Terrace, Highland Road, Oakfield Ryde. Enlisted 27th October 1924 on HMS Vivid II. Civilian occupation gardener. Died 26th September 1932 aged 26 years from an abscess of right lung at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta.
