Born 12 October 1919, enlisted 5 March 1940.
Home address, 43 Kirby Road, Hemsworth near Pontefract Yorkshire.
Captured at Singapore 15 February 1942.

He was taken to Chungkal POW Camp, Kanchanaburi, 129 kilometres north-west of Bangkok,
