- Pte STK/1095, 10th Royal Fusiliers, killed in action in France, 15th July 1916 aged 30. Son of Nora Stapleton Laurence, formerly Ross of 15. Henrietta Street, Bath, Somerset.
He was a splendid friend and comrade of Alleyne and Gerrard Webber and he is commemorated on Gerrard's memorial at Manchester Souther Cemetery, and also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France
