- Adelaide Frances S WISE. Child of Staff Commander Edwin Wise, Royal Navy and Lilia (Lillian), (nee Shobbrook) who died 30th September 1871 aged 4. Born in England.
At rest in Ta Braxia Cemetery, Malta.
Information on her father Edwin Wise.
He was the son of Chapman and Frances Sophia Wise.
In 1871 he was serving on HMS Lord Nelson as Staff Commander, Royal Navy aged 33, berthed in England. He was born in Palling, Norfolk.
1881 Census. He was living with his wife Lilia and children at 10 Netley Terrace, Portsea, Hampshire. Rank, Staff Commander.
