Extended Description: 2.18B.08 Alice WILLIAMS, nee Howard. Wife of Company Sergeant Major 3809Henry Williams 1/28th Gloucestershire Regiment. Born 1867, married 28 May 1890 in Preston, Lancashire. In 1891 residing with her husband in married quarter in Horfield Gloucestershire Regimental Depot. Died 22nd February 1895 aged 28 years.

In 1881 her husband aged 39 years was a boarder at the home of the Carroll family at Wellington Place, Gloucester Road, Horfield. occupation, Quartermaster Sergeant, Gloucestershire Regiment.

He was discharged to pension 8 October 1908.

At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot 02 Row 18B Grave 8.
