I see quite a variety of weapons and gear in this pic... M1 Garands, Enfields, possibly a French MAS - for sure at least one Mauser...

Any word where these fighters are?

...nothing about this one but I think maybe a ragtag Algerian or French bunch,especially with such a variety of weapons and gear.
