1.22.07 Child BOTTOMLEY. (Stillborn) of Edith and Thomas Collins Espar Bottomley, Company Sergeant Major 3165, 3rd Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps, died 6th September 1910.
The child’s mother died the same day and is at rest in Ta’Braxia Cemetery, Malta and the father was killed in France in WW1 and is at rest in that country.


1.22.07 Child DAVIES. (Stillborn) Died 18th July 1910. Child of Edith Elizabeth and Sergeant. Arthur Owen Davies Royal Garrison Artillery. The mother Edith is at rest in Ta’Braxia Cemetery, Malta.

This is so sad, the mothers and children were separated when buried, although they each died the same day. Why didn't someone have the compassion to lay them at rest together?
