If you see a statue with a military person on a military horse what does the following tell you when you look at them

The horse has his two front legs in the air

The horse has one leg in the air

The horse has all four legs on the ground

Don’t know, but I’ll have ago.

The horse has his two front legs in the air – Whoa boy, about turn, too many enemy.

The horse has one leg in the air – easy boy we’re in a mine field.

The horse has all four legs on the ground – Don’t know about you Colonel, but there’s no way I’m going into that crap.

It is commonly believed that

Both front legs in the air means the person on the horse died in battle.

If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle.

All four legs on the ground denote the person died of natural causes.

However this has been under debate for some time and im not sure if it actually true.

There is a statue of Queen Victoria in Liverpool, and she is astride a horse,
with one leg off the ground (the horse that is) so i was wondering what battle did she died in. LOL
