Native of Chapel-Le-Frith and is buried at Buxton Cemetery. He is the brother of Captain 250992, James Cyril Fraser, Royal Army Medical Corps, attached to 41 Royal Marine Commando. Fought in North West Europe. he was born in London and lived at Manchester. Qualified as M.R.C.P.S. & L.R.C.P., in 1942 He became a consultant to the South Manchester Hospital Group and the Devonshire Royal Hospital, Buxton. Awared the Military Cross 6th/7th June 1944 for dealing with a very large number of casualties on the beach and under heavy fire and when Command H.Q., was bombed he successfully evacuated the majority of the wounded
