A charity project is to restore a listed terminal building into a community automotive club + classic car & motorcycle restoration project for Veterans
I went to the location of the Veterans garage at Barton aerodrome today and met the team, what a fantstic bunch of people with a unique and spectacular vision for the Veterans Garage. Brilliant concept lets all get behind them.
I met up with the Team at the Garage location the other day and was amazed at the scale of the work required. After listening to the plans for the renovation and the use of the building once complete I was massively impressed. I have spent some time spreading the word via Facebook pages, military websites and distributing flyers so if you are reading this and want to help please start sharing the Veterans Garage Facebook page and website around your military Network and anywhere else that you feel it will benefit from the exposure. As you can see I feel so passionate about this project I have created a link to the Veerans Garage in the footer of the site, this will be displayed on over 150,000 pages.
If you know any builders Merchants or just trades people in the area that can contribute some of their time to help achieve this amazing venture please pass this on to the Veterans Garage via the website or FB page.
As time goes on I will add more photos to this album but remember as a member of MI.Net you can also add relevant photos here because I have set the access to the album for members to do so.
Pretty gutted at the moment that my work has taken up so much of my spare time and I have not been able to get more involved (hands on). Im still spreading the word everyday though so if you would like to visit the official website and make a small donation please visit www.veteransgarage.co.uk
