Images of a secret pipeline that Allied forces used during D-Day to keep troops supplied with fuel will go on display.
The vital route, codenamed Pluto, stretched across the English Channel.
The Pipeline Under The Ocean, as it was also known, pumped one million gallons of fuel a day along 780 miles of pipeline without the Nazis knowing.
More than a thousand photographs have been released by the UK National Archives at Kew, ahead of the Normandy landings' 60th anniversary on June 6.
