WW I woman Vet died aged 105

Mrs. Gladys Powers was born Lewisham England in 1899 and has died in British Columbia at the age of 105. She was the last known woman Vet of WW1. She joined up at age 15 by lying about her age. She served in the Womens Army Auxiliary Corps before joining.

Mrs Powers married a Canadian Soldier at the end of WW1 and moved to Canada
