Another Viet Nam War memoir, by another helicopter pilot - and another superb read!
Ron Alexander became the 2nd most-decorated helicopter pilot of the Viet Nam War, despite initially doing all that he could to avoid being sent there! Along with his co-author, Charles W. Sasser, they take you right into the middle of the action, using clear, candid and often harsh language of the combat soldier. An utterly honest account in the same league as 'Chickenhawk' and an enthralling read. Highly recommended.
