I found this site while researching the Squalus. My husband's great Uncle was among the fortunate who was rescued. He was 1st Class Charles Yuhas although he is type o'd as Yubas. I am wondering if anyone might know where I could locate archive photos of the rescued men. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I stay in touch with the WWII navy veterans that served onboard the USS Princeton, & I can tell you from my own first hand knowledge, that they are a goldmine of info, photos, knowledge, etc. Most vets are only too eager to help in your requests, try emailing the chap above, and he may be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck!
