The military heroine Pte Susan Norris who dodged bullets to rescue an injured colleague in Iraq, has been told she will have to go back for Christmas.
On her return to Britain at the end of last year she became the first woman to be awarded the Military Cross for her bravery. Her proud family have now been left devastated to learn she will have to return to Iraq again in December.
Mum, Susan Norris said yesterday: “We were hoping she would not have to go back.”
Pte Norris is in Germany at the medical corps base where she is training to become a lance corporal
