He survived active service in both Iraq and Afghanistan without a scratch,
emerging unscathed from 147 separate mortar attacks.

When Liam Poole's luck finally ran out, however, it was not at the hands of
the Taliban or insurgents in Basra or Baghdad.

Shockingly, the young soldier was savagely attacked by his own countrymen,
beaten to a pulp by three bat-wielding thugs in his home city of Coventry.

The gang left him lying bloodied on the pavement only 100 yards from his
front door, and made off with his wallet, phone - and his Iraq and
Afghanistan tour medals.

To them he was just another victim, which is bad enough, but to think that this brave lad who had sacrificed so much for the thugs that did this to him sickens me to the core.
Find them, punish them sufficently and tell the world what cowards they are. (thats my political view, I do have a much better idea but that would make me as sick as they are)
