A LIVERPOOL rubbish tip was sealed off last night after an
unexploded World War II bomb was discovered.
The shock find was made yesterday afternoon when the device was
spotted by one of the employees at the Otterspool site in Aigburth.
It is believed the device was sitting in one of the large skips on the
site when it was found at 2.45pm.
A specialist police team were sent to inspect the incendiary bomb,
which incredibly had ‘World War Two Bomb’ written on the side.
