No more info as yet, these thing take ages from nomination to the granting and some times a lesser medal will be issued.

Yes mate anymore on this?, I hope they get their VC's too.
to be put forward for these medals they must have acted with true guts, bravery and dedication to duty.

Thats very sad indeed, but the bravery of these men and others fighting in afghanistan and iraq is indicative of the british Military's long and well documented history of courage under fire. (Y)
