Medals won by a member of the special forces in the Falklands could
fetch up to £10,000 when they are auctioned on September 21.
Royal Marine Sergeant Tim Collins, who served with the Special Boat
Squadron, won the military medal and the South Atlantic medal with rosette.
Now a civilian, he says he is selling the medals and other decorations so that
his children will not squabble over them after his death.
Charterhouse Auctioneers in Sherborne, Dorset, who are selling the medals,
said: "Anything from the special services is extremely desirable for collectors
of militaria."
