I have created a gallery called 'Personal memorials' which can be found HERE (http://www.militaryimages.net/photopost/showgallery.php/cat/884)

The purpose of this gallery is to enable members to post an image of a love one or close friend who was lost while serving their country.

I have arranged the gallery into categories such as Army, Navy etc.

The loved one may have been lost during conflict or not as the case may be.

Image can be posted from any theatre of conflict and from any period in time.

I think its a good idea and I hope you do too sal;

I think it's a great idea and one worthy of this site. It is also indicative of the high standards and honor that the creator and administrator/moderator of this site... you, display on a regular basis.
A small request, if you don't mind. Can you include a category for Marines also ? We are part of the Department of the Navy and our sister service is near and dear to us, but ask any Marine, and he will tell you quickly that we are most definitely a different breed.

Tis done mate, I should have done that anyway as my nephew is a marine.
I will now thrash myself with wet chamois lethers until I bleed (Y)
