In an interview General Norman Schwarzkof was asked if he thought there was room for forgiveness towards the people who have harboured and abetted the terrorists who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks on America.
His reply was, “I believe that forgiving them is God’s function. Our job is simply to arrange the meeting.”

Absolutely Brilliant
A very old favorite of mine,
"Then out spake brave Horatius at the gate, to all men death cometh sooner or late, how better to die than facing fearful odds for the ashes of our fathers and the temples of our gods" - From Horatius by T. B. Macaulay
"I know there is a God because I have shaken hands with the devil, I have seen him, I have smelled him and I have touched him. I know the devil exists, and therefore I know there is a God." General Romeo Dalaire Commander UNAMIR.med;
I know this is in the Bomber's SIG...........however, I agree somewhat with, and certainly identify with this quote. and.........while I don't necessarily agree with the GOD/DEVIL concept.........I know for a fact evil is a force that can be sensed and felt, and the unjust dead still roamed the place when I was there, even 6 months after the horrors. I felt like a freakin' divining rod when I was there, I could find massacre sites and mass graves by "feel" when I was there, and the ghosts of the dead still walk within me, although they've backed off lately.
Sorry I can't do more of this now........Bob
